The Maintenance section performs site visits to public school district facilities to perform facility inspections to ensure safety and compliance State standards.  Area Project Managers-Maintenance (APM-M) document each facility’s condition, performance of maintenance and preventative maintenance, custodial plan versus custodial performance, and other facility related issues.  The APM-Ms work with public school districts to improve their maintenance and custodial services and refer them to other State agencies such as the State Health Department, State Fire Marshal, etc. if there are serious and/or issues not corrected by the public school district.  APM-Ms teach and assist public school districts in the use of the State mandated computerized automated maintenance management system (Dude Solutions).
